What is Love+?
Oh baby don't hurt me. It's a simple, 8-bit style game from yesteryear, made for the youngin's of today. It features 11 levels, a sweet soundtrack by James Bennett, an innovative respawn point placement system, and an online leaderboard to see who's the best of the best.
How do I get Love+?
Pretty simply, actually. You can download the five level demo here for free, or as you see below, you can pay your own price and get the full experience.
My own price?
Yeah. Ever go to GameStop and think to yourself "This game's only going to give me a few hours of joy, and that price tag does not seem terribly reasonable"? Well, I'm not going to make you pay a horrible massive fee. Love+ is yours for as much or as little as you're willing to pay.
Why can't I pay less than a dollar?
I'm not going to go into how you're a cheapskate, but I will say that it's because the distribution system takes a chunk of the payment. There's no middleman, no DRM, but there is a big oily machine that runs the pipes that get the game from me to you, and all that oil costs them money. So please, feed this machine, and help feed me.
Why the plus?
Love started as a simple Multimedia Fusion 2 project, and was my first fully released game. As it was my first, it was also fairly bug-ridden and ran like slop. Love+ however was made in Game Maker 7, and well, it's better in almost every way.
